Bucket List

I truly believe in setting SMART goals. I will write about this over and over in this blog, today I would like to share a bucket list I have right now. I’m trying not to think about whether they are truly attainable, but would make me happy or proud.


* do a presentation to hospital administrators on communication issues experienced by people with aphasia; help with the in service that results

* be able to take my big black lab for a walk without having any problems

* write my memoir

* have it published (by Hay House); make it has an audiobook attached

* add audio to my blog posts

* take my granddaughter to Disney

* be a mentor

* establish a mentorship/coaching program for people with aphasia who want to go back to work

* meet Debra Meyerson who wrote Identity Theft

* move to Richmond, VA

* make more people aware of the challenges of having apraxia of speech

* going to a restaurant again

* not having to wear a mask in public
