Today I’m planning to listen to Christmas music and watch a Hallmark Christmas movie. It‘s Christmas in July!
Last week we went to the dairy farm and they were celebrating Christmas in July. There was Christmas music playing and we were able to purchase some of their desserts thst are only available at Christmas time - eggnog, Buche de Noel, rum balls, and Christmas cookies. My daughter bought eggnog. Of course we also bought some everyday favorites like cheesecake, coffee milk and whipped cream desserts.
A day of rest couldn’t come at a better time. Last week was wonderful! My granddaughter, Kiera, met my extended family on Saturday. With all the commotion and merriment (the cousins had a water balloon fight), she was so good. Everyone loved meeting her! We had so much fun!
We traveled back to VA yesterday. They are now home and I’m exhausted - physically, mentally and cognitively.
So now it’s time for some music…..
until next time.

Lia has been decorating for Christmas in July also, such a happy time of year. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip with family, we're leaving tomorrow. It's exciting to go visit but sometimes it's just as exciting to get back home too!
Christmas in July sounds wonderful, especially on a hot day like today: we had a temperature of 34°C, with a note saying f"eels like 40" That’s 93°F, feels like 104! Have you ever tried to make your own bûche de noël?
