Today is the last day of the Ultimate Blog Challenge For July. I’m so thrilled that I finished!
It has been a tough month with many challenges to complete blogs and comment on atleast 2 other blogs every day. I’ve learned a few things but mostly I’m so proud that I finally was able to complete it.
To everyone who read my posts, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️ I am so very grateful! I really appreciate the very thoughtful comments as well. I know how valuable your time is. I am trying to read and respond to them.
I want to especially thank my readers who weren’t in the challenge and endured the DAILY automatically generated emails from me. I won’t torture you daily next month. The next UBC is in October so you (and I) will get the chance to relax a bit.
To my fellow bloggers, your well-crafted words entertained me, enlightened me and gave me much to think about. I didn’t get the chance to read everybody’s blogs so I apologize if I miss someone.
Some special thank you’s to my fellow UBC bloggers
If you don’t already follow them, I’d recommend it.
Paul Taubman. Of course, first and foremost thank you for hosting the Ultimate Blog Challenge. Your daily emails gave me tips for making my blog better and the daily prompt helped me to focus. I also want to thank you for your insightful posts on gratitude this month. Allaboutgratitude.com
Martha and Lia, I always enjoy your posts. Thank you for your entertaining posts on food, travel and friendships this month. You inspired me to do Wordless Wednesdays which helped a lot. themarthareview.com
Kebba, your journey has inspired me. Thank for helping me to stay present and introducing me to sky gazing this month. Your light shines through everything you do. kebbaButtonwordpress.com
Jaime, thank you for sharing your journey with a chronic disease. You inspire many with your positive outlook. This month I really enjoyed the financial literacy advice and self care Sundays https://www.drjaimebrainerd.com
I thank you, Tamara, for the stories about motherhood this month. Your creative writing brought me back to the joyful, sometimes frustrating years, when my children were growing up. Thethreegerbers.blogpost.com
Doug Jarvie jarvie.ca I loved the music you shared, the pictures on Wordless Wednesdays, and a glimpse at life in Canada.

Lily Leung. I always enjoy reading about your day and insights about life in general. I havent seen you in awhile. I hope you are well.
https://musesofamom.blogspot.com Angie, "NoBuy July" gave me the motivation to look at what I buy and keep around more. I printed off your “9 signs that you are not living in the present
so what’s next
I hope to go back to posting one blog every week, probably Friday.
I will use what I learned during this challenge - to post whatever I get done for the week regardless how done I think it is. I’m too much of a perfectionist sometimes and I resist posting if it’s not completely ready or doesn’t have everything I as was thinking about. With aphasia the entirety of my thoughts is so hard to get out. Someday it will get easier. Just not right now.
until next time...
Congratulations, Cheryl! I'm so glad you were part of my July! Your posts are educational and inspiring, and I admire your courage and determination! Until next time! 💖
Cheryl, congratulations on finishing! And thanks for the shout-out! It's beautiful to read your words. One thing-- would you consider updating my link to kebbaBUTTON.wordpress.com (not BURTON). No caps needed :-). Blessings to you in your journey, and I hope you'll write with us again.
Thanks for being part of the challenge, Cheryl! Every time I run it and participate it is a great deal of work. Thank you for being a part of the community, and congratulations on participating! I truly appreciate your involvement and contribution. Keep up the good work as we move into a non-Challenge month (and I hope to see you in October!)
