Day 31
As this 31-day journey comes to a close, I find myself filled with gratitude — for the process, for the growth, and for everyone who has followed along. Participating in the Ultimate Blog Challenge has been both motivating and meaningful. It pushed me to show up each day, to reflect on my experiences, and to share what I’ve learned about living well after a stroke and with aphasia.
Each post began as a simple idea — a moment of reflection, a lesson learned, or a truth discovered the hard way. But together, they’ve become something more: a reminder that healing isn’t just about recovery, but about rediscovery. It’s about finding new ways to connect, contribute, and live fully — even when life looks different than it once did.
Gratitude
To everyone who has read, commented, or shared these posts — thank you. Your presence means more than you know. Writing each day has reminded me that connection is at the heart of healing. I hope something here has spoken to you — maybe a tip that made life a little easier, or a message that helped you feel seen and understood.
If even one person found comfort, hope, or encouragement in these words, then this project has done its work.
Looking Ahead
Though this 31-day series is ending, the journey to live well continues. I truly am so grateful to be Living Well with Aphasia, Apraxia and Dysarthria. There’s more to share — more stories, more reflections, and more ways to grow together. I’ll be exploring some of these lessons in greater depth, weaving them into future blog posts, an online course, or perhaps even a memoir about rebuilding life and self esteem after stroke.
Living well isn’t a one-month challenge — it’s a lifelong practice. So let’s keep learning, connecting, and shining our light — one day, one story, one act of courage at a time.
Final Reflection (for my aphasia, apraxia, and dysarthria friends)
You’ve come so far. Whether you’ve read one post or all thirty-one, I hope you carry with you this truth: you are capable of living a full and meaningful life — not despite what you’ve been through, but through it.
(For everyone)
Your story matters. Your presence makes a difference.Keep living well — and keep shining your light.

I enjoyed the challenge. I did it a while back but it was so refreshing doing it again. I got to learn more about several of you and understand what you do or are experiencing. Thank you for your kind words, Cheryl. I hope to see you for the next one 😊
Congratulations on completing the challenge Cheryl even throughout your personal challenge. I admire your get up and go attitude and your blogs have been so inspiring. Take a break but we'll see you in January!
Cheryl, what a beautiful way to close the challenge. Your courage, consistency, and openness in sharing your journey after stroke and living with aphasia are incredibly inspiring. Thank you for reminding us that living well isn’t about perfection, but about showing up, reflecting, and connecting every single day. Your light definitely shines through your words. 🌟
